Speed is a single number — in game you'd drive it from the meter.
B replays A's animation, flipped. Turning this off lets B animate independently — neither animation is discarded.
At the centre both actors share one depth, so their limbs interleave part by part. Push it either way to put one wholly in front.
Colours are palette-swapped, not tinted: each sprite is redrawn from its character-map, so the outline, shadow and highlight all re-derive from your fur colour and every pixel stays exact.

How fast the pause shrinks — from mistakes and over time. Higher is harsher.

All synthesised in the browser — nothing to download. Either slider at 0 is silence.

Off by default. When on, the Return to menu button is disabled for ten seconds after a defeat while your device runs at your ceiling. The STOP button and the ESC key are never disabled — they cut output instantly whether or not the door is held. Turn this on only if you have agreed to it.
